Store Your Computer Data In Your Sunglasses

We’ve all seen the strange things that people have modified into USB storage devices. Whether it’s a fake piece of broken wire to deter thieves, or maybe a real stick that can store 2GB of memory. There are hundreds of them out there that you can buy and now there is a new addition to the list of strange USB sticks.

The new addition is a pair of sunglasses, Calvin Klein sunglasses to be precise. You might be wondering how they managed to fit a USB stick into a pair of glasses and still make them look fashionable. Well, it’s a pretty cool way they have done it, although it doesn’t make a huge amount of sense, it’s still cool. They have included the USB storage into the end of the right arm of the frames. All you have to do is pull the end of the arm off, plug it into your PC and then it can store a massive 4GB of data, not bad for a pair of sunglasses.

Although it sounds odd to include a USB memory stick into a pair of glasses, I guess it makes a unique selling point as you wouldn’t get that feature in a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses. Although, if you think that when you are on a beach, using your laptop or netbook, as you do when on holiday, and you require some extra storage, simply pull apart your sunglasses and there you have it.

Of course the major disadvantage to this product is that once you start using the USB storage, you are unable to wear them, unless you can balance them on your head using 1 and a half arms. Also, I assume they have made the connection holding the arm together strong otherwise as you remove the sunglasses, the arm might fall apart, not something you want on a beach. Also, I’m not sure if the USB is waterproof because if you’re using them on the beach, you don’t want to loose all your data if you get splashed, you certainly wouldn’t have that problem with Police sunglasses.

I guess the glasses do have some upsides, although they have a number of downsides too, and if you really don’t want to carry around a seperate memory stick, then these are perfect for you. However, they will cost you quite a bit. $199 is how much they are retailing for, I imagine you are paying for the glasses and not the 4GB of storage which would normally cost you about $20.

Tips And Tricks For Buying Sunglasses

With designer fashion and global warming all around us, having a good pair of sunglasses is a must have for both. A good pair of sunglasses will finish off your outfit and sometimes can disguise your eyes after a night on the town. As for the global warming side of it, with temperatures on the rise and the sun getting hotter, your eyes require more protection than ever before.

So now that we have justified why you need to buy some good sunglasses, which should give you some excuses to buy some, you now have to decide which ones are good for you. Now that’s where the whole decision making becomes complicated.

The decision as to which sunglasses you buy is all based on the shape of your face, just like when you choose normal eye glasses. The majority of people come under 2 different face shapes, round and oval. A round face is where the width and length of the face are very similar and generally, round faced people are aware that they have a round face. As for the other shape, oval, this is where the height of your face is longer than the width.

Once you have decided on your face shape, you can then decide on what shape of sunglasses to get. If you think you have a rounded face then you would be best off with a rectangle or square frame. If you are a rounded faced person then you are limited by the range of designers as some don’t make square or rectangle sunglasses.

If you think you have more of an oval shaped face, then you are not limited at all, you can wear pretty much anything you want. You are not just limited to square ones, you get away with wearing big sunglasses like many of the celebrities, or you can opt for something smaller.Police sunglasses or maybe you prefer a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, you should be able to pull it off.

There are a couple of other face shapes that you may have if you don’t fit into either oval or circle. If you think you have more of a heart shaped face, then you should lean towards the aviation style glasses that are thin rimmed. Finally, if you think you have more of a square face then you want to head for some glasses which are more curved as you already have plenty of angles on your face.

Hopefully you’ll find these tips useful when you buy your next pair of sunglasses. Just remember, despite paying alot of money for the sunglasses, it doesn’t mean that they give enough protection for your eyes. Make sure they come with a sticker that states how well they really are protecting your eyes.

Designer Glasses Combine Style And Functionality

The glasses or sunglasses that you wear can make a huge difference to your image and the way people see you.Glasses are not purely a functional thing to help you see more clearly, they also say something about your personality and individuality. You want to know that your glasses look great on you as well as being comfortable and functional, and for this reason more and more people are choosing to go for designer frames.

There is no end to the number of different frames available in a neverending selection of colours, materials and shapes. The choice sometimes seems overwhelming. With designer glasses, the image you want to project is probably the consideration. For work wear a more sensible and plain style may be more appropriate. If you want to make a statement and go for bright unrestrained glasses there are dozens of recognised designer brands out there, including Prada glasses for example that combine an intrinsic sense of style with the name recognition that is more of a fashion and lifestyle statement. Whichever way you lean, choose designer glasses to suit the shape of your face and not just your outfits or your desired social standing. The same is true when choosing designer sunglasses.

People with a square face look best in oval shaped or round glasses.Smaller, rounded or square frames suit those whose face is narrower at the bottom than the top. Avoid styles that are wider at the top as these will accentuate the face shape rather than balance it and look at styles without decorative detail on the temples as this will have the same effect. People with a round face and chin can get away with wider styles. Styles that have small round shapes and very large frames will make your face look rounder and should be avoided.

If your face is a basic oval shape with a slightly wider forehead, curved jaw and high cheekbones you’re lucky and can take your pick of any style as most will suit you.Wide frames with a strong upper line will suit faces that are long, with high cheekbones and a deep forehead.Oval faces are nicely balanced by large square frames, although small squares should be avoided. If your forehead is narrower than your jaw then bolder, more adventrous frames will look good on you, but you should avoid narrower styles.

With designer sunglasses in particular, remember that, aside from making you look good, the primary role of these items is still to protect your eyes from the harmful effects of UV radiation. If at all possible try the glasses on before buying to be sure of the comfort and style.Lastly never forget that although a designer label is a fashion statement, at the end of the day it’s only your own opinion that matters, as long as you feel comfortable with your choice it’s the right one!

Buy Glasses Online

If you wear glasses you know how much of a hassle and financial burden it is to buy new glasses.

I have worn glasses for most of my life and as a child broke countless pairs. This has not changed too much in my adult life.

After a recent glasses breakage I decided to try and buy glasses online. I was shocked at the savings that exist. Some places allow you to get their own brand glasses from as little as $8 and other places allow you to find all the designer glasses and sunglasses that you would find in your local Lens Crafters. Often these are 50% off!

You can find all the standards of lenses from the budget to the highest quality with all the bells and whistles. UV coating, anti-scratch, bifocals, tints and much much more.

One thing that may worry you when you buy glasses online is the fact that they may not e able to 100% see how they look on you. However online store such as GlassesEtc have awesome buyers guide that help you measure up and make sure you get the right size. This is a bit sneaky but you could always head off to your local Lens Crafters or any opticians, try on some frames, jot down the model number and buy the glasses from a discount site.

Once you buy a pair of glasses online there will be no going back…
